The Bolton Council of Mosques, in conjunction with the High Street and Derby Youth Group organised a 'Making The Grade' project in Bolton. The event was targeted at supporting people from the BME communities to develop their skills, but was open to all communities and cultures.
There were 10 workshops in 5 days, covering different aspects such as developing a world class CV, quality application forms, interview skills and a better understanding of employment and enterprise opportunities that exist in Bolton. The purpose of the programme was to help individuals develop the skills required to achieve real success. 
Lunch, refreshments and training material was provided to each participant and there were no financial obligations. Each participant will receive a certificate in recognition of the commitment that they have shown in attending the training sessions and the skills they have gained.
