This is a truly barbaric act that has no basis in Islam and we condemn this unreservedly. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim and his family.

Community Development

Based on feedback received from the student body and due to the growing number of students that require facilities for religious observance, Smithills School have allocated two rooms in order to set up a faith room with full ablution facilities. The faith room will be a prayer/contemplation area for use by students, staff and visitors to the school and the school would like to involve students and the wider community in an effort to raise funds to set up the faith room and also to be involved in the design layout and facilities of the proposed room.
