The UK Youth Parliament was launched at the House of Commons in July 1999. There are currently more than 500 elected youth MPs and deputies throughout the country.

Standing for young people.

Bolton is currently setting themselves up for Youth elections and are looking for candidates. Bolton Council of Mosques having been involved in supporting young people in the past and we are once again supporting 3 young people. Mohammed Gajra; Mohammed Salim Patel and Riaz Fatakia to stand up in the race to get elected.
