Bolton Council of Mosques in partnership with Business Bolton set-up an introduction to business workshop at the Bolton Muslim Girls School.

30 young girls got an introduction into the world of Business, empowering the next generation female entrepreneurs to start thinking of making there millions.

The workshop was designed to give the young people a practical introduction to personal finance, credit and debt, savings and budgeting giving confidence at a time when the country is facing the credit crunch. All young people taking part will receive an AQA accreditation.

Director of Mathematics, Mrs Vali said, "The session inspired the girls to think outside the box & to give any business ideas they may have a try. They know now that there are lots of organisations that offer advice and assistance and they can now put faces to some of the success stories in the North West."

Bolton Council of Mosques in conjunction with Jobcentre Plus, boltonWISE and Business Bolton will also be offering free advice and support from January 2009 for people looking to get into business and employment.
