Icy Fun for Girls from the BCoM
Women & Girls

A group of over 40 young girls from the different parts of Bolton were able to have an enjoyable day out at the Blackburn Arena.

Organised by the Bolton Council of Mosques the girls came from different areas in Bolton to take part in this Ice Skating activity.
Shazia Hussein (19) who attended the trip said "It was a brilliant day, I fell over more than 10 times, but it was fantastic! I’ve never been ice skating before and it was a great experience, thank you to BCoM for arranging for us to go in a female friendly environment."

These kind of trips have been very successful to encourage girls from the Black and Minority Ethnic Communities to try out new opportunities.
