Girls Paintball Excursion

A group of up to 35 young BME girls were able to have an enjoyable day out by attending a paintball trip organised by the Bolton Council of Mosques.

The girls came from different youth groups in Bolton attended the outdoor excursion. A number of games were participated in by the young people giving them an insight into meeting new people from different backgrounds in a friendly environment.

The Bolton Council of Mosques have continued to work with the girls and have encouraged them to access the services of BCOM for further development. A number of these young people further undertook training workshops including the Citizenship Course.

Aisha Javid who also attended the trip said “It was a brilliant day, and I enjoyed it a lot even though I did get hurt! I met a lot of new people and made friends, I’d love to come again.”
