Health Checks in the Mosques

The Bolton Council of Mosques will be holding health checks for people to participate in at the local mosques in Bolton.

The aim of the scheme is to promote the Big Bolton Health Checks to the elderly members of the Muslim community who are aged 45 and over, and help promote healthier lifestyles. The men’s events will all be taking place after the Friday prayers. Initially they will be targeted at the following mosques, with a view to promote the checks at other mosques later in the year.

Those who partake in the events will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain advice on how to take their medicine in Ramadhan, have diabetes checks, medication reviews and have access to free fruit and veg!
