During Islam Awareness Week every year, Muslim communities throughout the country organise a range of activities and events to give information about their way of life, promote social interaction and celebrate Muslim art and culture.

Bolton Council of Mosques took this opportunity to promote community cohesion and raise cultural awareness of Muslims, by coordinating a series of events across Bolton.. Events included Mosque visits, seminars, displays and exhibitions in conjunction with organisations that include Bolton Council, Bolton Interfaith Council, Thinkers Forum, Bolton Community College and others.
