One of the most talked about events in the North-West, an event filled with sporting atmosphere, cricketing fanatics, enthusiastic fans and a Bolton Arena, a prestigious venue to showcase the event! An experience which many travel many miles to participate in, YES, Communities Batting Together is running successfully for the second time to entertain all you cricket lovers out there.

Sixty four teams from across 19 Mosques of Bolton came together at the Bolton Arena on Sunday 17th August 2008 to battle it out in the 7th Annual Inter-Mosque Football Competition organised by the Bolton Council of Mosques.

Alhumdulillah, The Bolton Council of Mosques (BCoM) in conjunction with the Halal Monitoring Committee (HMC) organised an Ulama & Community leader’s event at the newly opening HMC certified restaurant in Bolton, called Dhanak Deira.

Entrepreneur help for “hard to reach” communities.

A SERIES of events aimed at helping people realise their business dreams has got under way.

Business Bolton has teamed up with towns Council of Mosques to host three Start-up Roadshows, aimed at people who find it difficult to access mainstream support services.

In May of 2007, BCOM joined in partnership with other faith communities and led by the Interfaith Council, to help organise a hugely successful event.
