Council Housing for the 21st Century

Bolton at Home is responsible for managing Bolton Council’s houses and delivering housing regeneration and private sector housing renewal services. Bolton at Home is a 3 Star organisation with many Beacon Awards, run by a Board and Sub Groups consisting of Tenant, Council and Independent Members.

Who are we looking for?

• Independent and Tenant Sub Group Members - We are looking for Independent Members to join our Customer Involvement Sub Group and Performance Sub Group and Tenant Members to join our Performance Sub Group and Regeneration Sub Group. As a Sub Group Member you will be part of a committed team with wide ranging knowledge and experience. If you can make a difference to housing and regeneration in Bolton, enhancing the lives of our customers, we would like to hear from you.

• Standards Sub Group Member - We are also looking for an Independent Member to join our Standards Sub Group. You will be responsible for the promotion and maintenance of proper standards in the conduct of the business of the Company. The Sub Group usually meets three times a year.

Bolton at Home would particularly like to hear from groups such as women, people from black and minority ethnic groups and people with disabilities. Members are unpaid, though expenses, including caring responsibilities, will be reimbursed.
