Grading success for Shorai student

Over 50 students from the Zakaria Madrasah  - Shorai Conflict and Prevention Martial Arts programme achieved the first belt.
PC Bob varley from the neighbourhood policing team joined in the celebrations and presented the young people with the well deserved certificates and belts.

PC Varley was impressed in the activities provided as part of the local Mosque programme and Said “its great to see so many young people taking part in positive activities with volunteer and parental  support”
Imran Majid – Chief Sensei thanked the contribution and ongoing support from the Bolton Council of mosques and said “this is a great achievement for the young people in the programme. The community and parents should be proud in what they have achieved”

Imran through the support of the Bolton Council of Mosques is also delivering a martial arts and PE programme at the Bolton Muslim Boys school, which sees over 100 young students engaged in physical activity.
