Young Muslims Girls Want to Make a Difference for Red Nose Day!
Women & Girls

Friday 18th March 2011 will mark Red Nose Day, a fantastic British fundraising event to help disadvantaged children in Africa and UK. For many years comedians and celebrities have put on their read noses and put the fun back in to fundraising by doing great things to raise lots of money for Red Nose Day.

This year the 1st Ethical Charitable Trust and BCoM (Bolton Council of Mosques) rubbed their red noses together to raise money by holding a cake-decorating competition for girls between the ages of 10 and 19.

The 1st Ethical Charitable Trust believe that getting involved with events such as Red Nose Day is a not only a chance to raise money for a good cause and have fun but also a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate shared values with the mainstream community to enhance social and religious cohesion.

The cake decorating competition will take place on:

Date: Saturday 12th March 2011

Time: 4-5pm Venue: BCoM office, Vicarage Street, Bolton, BL3 5LE

Members of the 1st Ethical CT will be the judging panel of the competition and will choose the winning cake on individual style and creativity.

To raise extra money for Red Nose Day we will also be holding a bake sale! This will be open to the community after the competition.
