 The Bolton Council of Mosques in partnership with Ladybridge High School is providing after school activities for their pupils every Tuesday afternoon as part of the University of First Stage programme (UFA).  UFA activities for young people are designed to be challenging, enriching and exciting learning opportunities. UFA activities builds on everything we know about what makes good learning and the results are clear to see in the motivated, confident and engaged young people who can evidence the skills they achieve as well as enjoying learning.
 
As part of the Bolton Community Cohesion project, the Mentoring and Female Youth Development officers from the BCoM provides support to the school every week on the opportunities delivered. Henna Paiting, First Aid Courses to Health awareness programmes have been some of the programmes. This is developing to become a fantastic partnership approach to raise achievement and standards for young people in the school.
 
Inayat Omarji from the Bolton Council of Mosques said " Extending services and approaches using organisations like ourselves working in partnership with Ladybridge High school has opened up the opportunities available to young people to further develop themselves as young leaders as well as the strategic approach to school improvement and community development"
