A fascinating exhibition exploring the history of mosques in Bolton at the Bolton Museum from Friday 18th September to Saturday 31st October 2009.

The exhibition will feature a brief history of the first mosques in Bolton, and objects from the current 22 Mosques in Bolton; brought to life with stories from elders in the community.

There will also be a large scale art piece made from photographs of the work created by young Muslim girls attending Bolton Council of Mosques youth club.
